ARDESKOS (or Ardescus) was a River-God of inland Thrake (modern Bulgaria).
The River Ardeskos or Arda, now called the Maritsa, flows through inland Thrake, behind the Rhodope mountains, to converge with the river Hebros near the town of Oresteia.
