DESCRIPTION
Atlas recovers the golden apples of the Hesperides for Heracles. The hero wears a lion-skin cape and bears the roof of star-spangled portico, representing the sky, upon his shoulders. His club, bow and quiver of arrows rest nearby. The Titan holds two apples in his hands.
