DESCRIPTION
The Nereid Dynamene rides on the back of the sea-god Phorcys. The god is depicted as a merman with grey hair, reddish skin, a severe expression, serpentine fish-tail and pair of crab-claw "feet". He holds a large, flaming torch in his hands.
