IDAIA (or Idaea) was a Nymph of Mount Ida in the Troad (north-western Anatolia), wife of the river god Skamandros (Scamander). She was probably the Naias of the springs at the head of her husband's river.

"Dardanos left Samothrake and came to the opposite mainland [the Troad]. That country was ruled by a king, Teukros (Teucer), son of the river Skamandros (Scamander) and of a Nymphe Idaia, and the inhabitants of the country were called Teukrians after Teukros."

"The first to rule as king over the land of Troy was Teukros (Teucer), the son of the River-god Skamandros (Scamander) and a Nymphe of Mt Ida."
