DESCRIPTION
Detail of Poseidon and Amphitrite from a painting depicting the Argonauts' encounter with the bronze giant
Talos. The god is crowned with a wreath (of parsley?) and holds a trident in his hand. Amphitrite wears a
tiara-crown and holds a striped royal sceptre.
This is a drawing of the vase rather than a photograph.
