DESCRIPTION
The god Pan (or one of the multitude of Panes) plucks a thorn from the foot of a Satyr. The rustic god has the horns and legs of a goat. The Satyr has the ears of an ass, wears an ivy-wreath and goatskin cape, and holds a wineskin in his hand.
