DESCRIPTION
The god Dionysus (Roman Bacchus) is surrounded by a host of beasts--primarily bulls and bears. He is crowned with a shining aureole, wears a red cloak and high boots, and holds a thyrsus (pine-cone staff) in his hand. A small leopard sits at his feet.
